CET is like the SAT in India, it determines to which college you will be going. In the present format (3-Oct-2007) there are 60 questions and 70 minutes to answer them. But on the whole we get 60 minutes for 60 questions.
Take a lot of CET preparation manuals, they are available in any book stall.
Spend 7 hours daily.
Cover three chapters daily.
Do a lot of test (mock) exam papers. I stress on this point, to cope with the tension and to do good time management you have to write at least 10 mock papers per subject before going to the exam.
Don't have the serious look, the negative cloud never helps. Be cool and relaxed but not too relaxed.
Take 10 minutes break after studying for 50 minutes, this helps a lot.
Work Smart, don't kill yourself. Try to understand. Apply full concentration.
