Possession of Voter Identity card is must for anyone now a days, to obtain any Bank Account, Passport, PAN Card etc. Voter ID Card works as an Identity proof, so who ever attains the age of 18 years as on 1st January should enroll for Voter ID Card.
Enrolling Voter ID card is not only for Identity proof, but also it is our primary responsibility to vote in elections as vote is the only weapon available for electing the government.
Getting Voter ID Card is the simple process. You can fill up Form6 and drop it in the box available at your college , Post Offices or E-seva centers.
If you can work with Computer and Internet, you can even enroll in your home, college or netcafe with in 5 to 10 minutes.
Before starting make sure that you have following things with you.
1.Photograph with width and height 240×320 and size less than 100kb. If your photo is not ready with these specifications use image tuner.
2.Collect your Father, Mother or Husband’s Voter ID Card for some time. If you don’t have presently search their VoterID Card here.
Go to Form 6 (New Enrollment) . E-Registration form appears on the screen.
Select your assembly constituency from the available list. If you don’t know your constituency click on Know Your Assembly Constituency then select your district, or colony name to know your constituency.
Now upload your Photograph. Click on browse and select your photograph. Then click on upload button. If your photo successfully uploaded it displays in the rectangle.
Now enter your Name, Surname, Age as on 1st, January. Select Sex, Enter Date of Birth. Then enter your birth place. Enter relationship type etc here. Then enter Address.
Then Enter the details of your Father or Mother or Husband (who have the Voter ID Card) with Part Number, Serial Number, Elector’s Photo Identity card number and enter Mobile number and email address.
Finally in the declaration, give the date from which your residing in the current address. If you already have your Voter ID card at another place then give the details of that ID Card.
After filling up everything click on Translate. All the details you entered will be converted to Telugu. Check once. Then click on Save.
Now you will get one acknowledgement with application ID and all the details which you are filled. Print and keep it with you.If you don’t have printer convert to PDF and take print out after some time.
